Respected citizens of Siheung and fellow council members,

First, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has believed in and supported me.

Over the past two years, I am deeply thankful for the efforts of the former chairperson, Song Mi-hee, who dedicated herself to making the 9th Assembly’s first half a "working council for happy citizens."

Reflecting on the activities of the previous half of the council, there were many challenges and difficulties, but thanks to the cooperation of fellow council members and citizens, we were able to achieve various accomplishments.

We have achieved meaningful results in various fields, such as infrastructure expansion, welfare enhancement, and educational environment improvement in Siheung.

These achievements are the result of all our efforts, and we must continue to work together to achieve even greater results in the second half of the year.

As the chairperson for the latter half, I would like to make two promises:
First, I will listen more to the voices of the citizens and reflect on them. The council is a place to represent the opinions of citizens. I will do my utmost to ensure that the voices of citizens are reflected in policies
and embody the mission of all council members who are doing their best.

Second, I will realize transparent and fair operation of the council. The council must operate on the basis of the trust of the citizens. I will maintain transparency and fairness in all decision-making processes to achieve this.

Additionally, through ethical and responsible operation and management of the council, I will gain the trust of the citizens.

I believe that our goal is to make Siheung a better place to live. To this end, I will continually strive with you and dedicate myself to the bright future of Siheung.
