With gratitude for your support and trust and a heavy sense of responsibilities for tasks before us, the ninth Siheung City Council would like to make the following three promises.

First, we will concentrate all our capacity in caring for citizens in difficult economic circumstances and revitalizing the struggling local economy. We will provide institutional support, so that the daily lives of citizens who have endured COVID-19 may be restored and the economy of Siheung can take off again.

Second, we will build Siheug City Council into a council which creates policies. We will study local issues in depth, move into the lives of citizens, and listen to live voices from the field. We will find solutions to problems there and produce citizens-oriented policies effectively.

Finally, we will build a trusted council.
We will work to become a more trustworthy council based on integrity by improving unreasonable practices and actively communicating with citizens with an open mind, so that wishes of citizens can be incorporated in all decision-making processes.

Finally, the ninth Siheung City Council will make full efforts with a vision of “a hard-working council, happy citizens”.
